About the course

About the Chuppah v'Kiddushin Course

About 35,000 couples marry each year in Eretz Yisroel in weddings k'das Moshe v'Yisroel, each requiring a Mesader Kiddushin to conduct the Chuppah. With sensitivity, care and an understanding of the importance of the occasion, the role of the Mesader Kiddushin is to tailor the Chuppah to the couple's wishes, allowing them to marry in accordance with the requirements of Halacha and to experience the greatest day of their lives in the best possible way. Since a considerable number of the couples are not religious, the Mesader Kiddushin serves as the link between the requirements of Halacha and the couple, trying to make the experience dear to them rather than creating an aversion to a religious Chuppah. In a course built on experience in the field, at Daat Center you will learn in depth the Halachic requirements on the one hand and the skills of running a Chuppah on the other, to become an honored Mesader Chuppah and Mesader Kiddushin.

Mesader Chuppos Course: Why Learn the Profession?

Since the law in Israel requires marriage registration to go through the Rabbinate, and the Rabbinate recognizes only Chuppos conducted by Rabbonim holding a recognized certificate, the tens of thousands of Chuppos held every evening throughout the year open a wide path of employment in a Torah profession full of simcha. Accompanying couples at the most moving moments of their lives, some of whom are at times distant from Yiddishkeit despite being Jewish, is deeply fulfilling and carries great responsibility on the one hand, and assures plentiful parnassah on the other.

In the Daat Center course you will receive all the professional knowledge required on the Halachic level and gain hands-on training in the field alongside Rabbonim who conduct Chuppos, so that as a graduate of the course you can enter the job market and start working right away, Beezras Hashem.
